Ancona, 23rd October 2012 - CRN Shipyard - a Ferretti Group brand , specialising in the construction and marketing of fully customized steel and aluminium displacement megayachts , ranging from 44 to 90 metres, and a displacement (43 metres long CRN Navetta 43) - is carrying on promoting its brand in the most important foreign markets of luxury boating by participating in the 53rd Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (25-29th October).
Fort Lauderdale, located on the east coast of Florida, north of Miami, is considered to be the "world capital of yachting" and its boat show is the main venue for the high and very high-end American market. The CRN booth is located in the SYBAss (Super Yacht Builders Association) area, which has witnessed the involvement of CRN since its very beginning.
CRN is showing new interest in the American market: it is true that the clientele of the Shipyard of Ancona is spread all over the world, especially in the Middle East and the Eastern European countries, but it is also true that some of the Owners of the most beautiful mega yachts manufactured by CRN are Americans.
"Competition in the USA is definitely tough but this is a great motivator for us," declared Luca Boldrini, Sales Manager of CRN. "In recent years, CRN has greatly focused on its clients, product/quality and after sales services; and now that we consider ourselves ready for an American clientele, which is known to be very demanding, we will be present at Fort Lauderdale. Here we will compete with the best international shipyards: I believe that CRN has many cards up its sleeve, including the design, the made in Italy, technology, the eye for detail and excellent craftsmanship, which allow us to be confident. Among other things, this boat show is also a bridge for the Latin American clientele, another area we are greatly interested in. It is another important threshold for the ranking process of CRN within the worldwide shipyard elite".
At the moment, at the Shipyard of Ancona, seven mega yachts are being manufactured, namely:
M/Y CRN 125 60 mt (to be launched in November) - designed by Zuccon International Project
M/Y CRN 129 80 mt (to be launched in January 2013) - designed by Zuccon International Project
M/Y CRN 131 74 mt - designed by Zuccon International Project
M/Y CRN 132 73 mt - designed by Omega Architects
M/Y CRN 133 60 mt - designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design
all made of steel and aluminium in addition to
2 CRN Navetta 43, 43 mt, made of composite, designed by Zuccon International Project
In particular, the 80 metre, which is in an advanced construction phase, will be the biggest megayacht ever manufactured by CRN, will exceed the 72 metre "Azteca" and it will be the biggest yacht ever manufactured in Italy.
The Dislopen line, designed by Zuccon International Project, and the new 60 to 80 mt projects, created by Nuvolari & Lenard, are still in the design phase.
Prior to Fort Lauderdale, CRN attended the Cannes Boat Show (Festival de la Plaisance, 11-16th September) and the one in Monaco (Monaco Yacht Show, 19-22nd September), which traditionally open the great international yachting season.
During the Cannes Boat Show, the 43 metre long Navetta 43 "Lady Trudy" was awarded "Best Interior Award" at the "World Yacht Trophy 2012" organized by the French editorial group LuxmediaGroup with the aim of awarding high quality mega yacht interiors.
At Monaco, CRN premiered the new 60 metre CRN 130 "Darlings Danama", hull number 130 of the Shipyard, made of steel and aluminium, the sixth 60 metre pleasure ship built since 2005. Darlings Danama has been widely appreciated by the staff, who admire the external profile and the internal layout of the mega yacht, bearing the signature of Studio Zuccon International Project in collaboration with the CRN Technical Office, which dealt with the designing of the vessel, as well as the interior décor, which was realized by the Owner's architects - Cristina & Alexandre Negoescu - together with the Centro Stile of the Shipyard.
The next important event for CRN will be the launching of the M/Y CRN 125 (60mt), to be held in Ancona on Saturday 17th November as a private christening, anticipating the launching of the 80mt M/Y 129, to be held on 12th January 2013, the largest vessel manufactured by CRN and one of the biggest ever manufactured in Italy.
Moreover, 2013 will be the fiftieth anniversary of CRN, a historic moment that testifies to the soundness of the company with its market niche which is counterposing the global market still in recession.
