New CRN mega-yachts under construction

January 09, 2008

Construction of two new vessels created by CRN was begun in recent days. The first blocks of the two new steel hulls have been assembled in the shipyard, which handles all the various phases of the construction process.

The first block of the 58-metre mega-yacht, project number 125 of the shipbuilding complex in the Marches Region, was positioned just a few weeks before that of CRN #128, a 60-metre ship.

The design of the CRN #125, whose owner is Italian, features a number of especially innovative elements, especially as regards the tender and the garage, while the new 60-metre vessel, which is being built for a Middle East client, is based on the same nautical platform as the 54-metre yacht “Ability”, but with the stern area lengthened and with a modified bow whose shape is more dashing and streamlined. Further distinctive features of the vessel, in what is becoming a tradition with CRN, will be the bathing area astern, outfitted as a “beach club”, and the balcony of the owner’s suite, built as a platform hanging out over the sea.
